6.7.1.4. Half to Even
The half to even rule states that a number with a fractional half is rounded to the closest even integer. For example, 2.5 is rounded to 2, 3.5 is rounded to 4, 5.5 is rounded to 6 and 8.5 is rounded to 8.
The rule only applies to fractional halves. Fractional parts that are higher than 0.5 are still rounded to the next highest integer and those lower than 0.5 are rounded to the next lowest integer. 4.5 is rounded to 4, but 4.2 is rounded to 4 and 4.7 is rounded to 5.
To enable half to even rounding:
1) Tap the menu button and select Settings.
