6.7.1.8. Half Up
The half up rule states that a number x with a fractional half will be rounded to n = x + 0.5. 2.5 is rounded up to 3, 3.5 is rounded to 4, and 5.5 is rounded to 6. -2.5 is rounded to -2, -3.5 is rounded to -3, and -4.5 is rounded to -4.
The rule only applies to fractional halves. Numbers with a decimal part higher than 0.5 are still rounded to the next highest integer, and those lower than 0.5 are rounded to the next lowest integer. For example, 4.5 is rounded to 5 but 4.2 is rounded to 4.
