6.7.1.5. Half to Infinity
The half to infinity rule states that if n is a number with a fractional half, it will be rounded to the next highest integer. 2.5 is rounded to 3, 3.5 is rounded to 4, and 4.5 is rounded to 5.
This rule only applies to fractional halves. Numbers with fractional parts that are lower than 0.5 are still rounded to the next lowest integer. For example, 4.5 is rounded to 5, but 4.2 is still rounded to 4.
